Privacy

This page explains, in plain words, what personal data Havenvale collects, why, and what you can do about it. Havenvale is a non-profit community project. It is not an official Minecraft product and is not approved by or associated with Mojang or Microsoft.

What we collect

• Your application: your Minecraft Java name, your Discord username if you give it, how you found us, what you write about yourself, and your confirmation that you are at least 16 and accept the rules.
• Your Minecraft account ID: when you apply we ask Mojang whether the account exists, and we keep its unique ID to manage the whitelist.
• Technical data: your IP address, used to limit how many applications can be sent and to stop abuse. Our web server logs, which include it, are kept for 14 days.
• In game: the data the server keeps while you play, such as your inventory, your claims, your shops and the chat in the server logs. We need it to run the server and to enforce the rules.

Why we use it

• To review your application and add you to the whitelist.
• To keep the server and the community safe from spam, cheating and rule breaking.
• To contact you about your application, only if you gave us your Discord username.

We never sell your data and we don't use it for advertising.

Who can see it

• The Havenvale staff, in game, in our staff tools and in a private staff channel on our Discord.
• Mojang (Microsoft): only your Minecraft name, to check that the account exists.
• Cloudflare, which protects and delivers this website and checks that the form is sent by a person (Turnstile).
• Discord, which hosts the staff channel where new applications are posted.

Cookies

This site only uses the cookies it needs to work: one that protects the application form, and Cloudflare's security cookies. No tracking or advertising cookies.

How long we keep it

We keep applications so the staff can see who applied and who is on the whitelist. You can cancel a pending application from its private link at any time, and you can ask us to delete your data whenever you like.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete the data we have about you. If you delete it, your account is also removed from the whitelist. You must be at least 16 to apply.
